About the Event Examining the Income Assistance Program.

The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) is hosting a hybrid forum on income assistance for First Nations case managers and administrators to come together, network, share information, best practices, and identify areas for further advocacy and reform of the Income Assistance Program.

Virtual Forum Goals

  • Provide First Nations with information about the on-going reform of the Income Assistance Program.
  • Discuss wrap-around supports, accessibility and disability programming, data collection, and areas for further reform.
  • Provide a safe environment for income assistance case managers and administrators to network, share information and best practices.
