All Our Relations:Emerging Stronger Together
In accordance to the Charter of the Assembly of First Nations and the By-laws of the National Indian Brotherhood, an Annual Assembly is to be held in June or July of every year. Due to the pandemic, the July 2020 Assembly had to be postponed. We are now planning to host an Annual Assembly in December to meet our obligations under the Charter and the By-laws. This meeting will be hosted virtually to ensure the safety and well being of the Chiefs across Canada.
Please note that the Chime site you used to view the AGA will continue to be open until March 8, 2021 if you would like to refer to the assembly. All documents, bios, and recording of the AGA can be viewed until then.

Registration
Where does your registration fee go?
Chiefs from across the country generally come together twice a year to set strategic direction based on First Nations needs and priorities. The Chiefs Assemblies provide the venue for First Nations leaders to direct the work of the Assembly of First Nations, the National Chief and Executive Committee through resolution. It is just one way First Nations leaders bring forward the concerns and priorities of First Nations members.
Registration fees help to offset the direct costs of organizing Chiefs Assemblies, including equipment, interpretation services, registration services, facilitators, and drum group.
