9/23/15 AFN Open Forum on First Nations and the 2015 Federal Election

The Assembly of First Nations convened an Open Forum on the 2015 Federal Election which took place on October 7, 2015 at the Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort, Meeting Room Enoch C/D at 300 East Lapotac Boulevard, Enoch, Alberta, T7X 3X3.

The Open Forum was an opportunity to learn, discuss and engage on issues related to the 2015 federal election, including: 

  • The AFN agenda for change set out in Closing the Gap: 2015 Election Priorities for First Nations and Canada

  • Changes and challenges for First Nations voters under the new Fair Elections Act
  • Maintaining momentum and achieving change following the federal election
